Service Care Solutions has an exciting opportunity working in partnership with a Housing Association that has a vacancy for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team on a temporary contract, covering the Yeovil and surrounding areas of Somerset. We are looking for a proactive, great team player with a good eye for detail who is looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities
- Working within a team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of external communal areas, grass, shrubs, and hedges.
- You may also be required to undertake soft landscaping and minor tree work.
- You will cover sites across Berkshire and have the flexibility to plan your workload within a fortnightly round.
Other details: a company van is provided for travel during work hours. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and well‑driven individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and diverse team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Practical amenity horticultural knowledge and experience
- PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
- NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)
- A full driver’s licence (towing licence desirable)
