Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an adult & older people occupational therapist to work with Royal Greenwich Council on a temporary contract.

Location: Royal Greenwich. Contract: Ongoing. Hours: Monday to Friday (35 hours per week). Rate: Up to £40 per hour (Umbrella) / £31.36 per hour (PAYE).

Role Overview

This role involves working with adults and older people within the community, carrying out assessments and delivering interventions to promote independence and enable individuals to remain safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of service users’ needs
  • Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and adaptations
  • Support hospital discharges and prevent unnecessary admissions
  • Develop care plans to promote independence and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including health and social care professionals
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to service users, families, and carers
  • Monitor and review interventions to ensure effective outcomes

Requirements

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist, HCPC registered
  • Experience working with adult and older people services
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
