About the Role:
Join BCP Council’s in-house Bathrooms Team and help improve the quality of life for residents through high-standard bathroom refurbishments across our social housing stock. You’ll be carrying out full installations in both occupied and empty homes as part of our ongoing housing improvement programme.
What You’ll Do:
- Complete full bathroom refits, including plumbing, tiling, carpentry, flooring, and basic plastering
- Work in line with building regs, health & safety standards, and council procedures
- Maintain a professional approach with tenants, minimising disruption
- Collaborate with other trades as part of a multi-skilled team
- Keep accurate records of works, timesheets, and materials
- Report any safeguarding or property concerns
- Proven experience fitting bathrooms, ideally in social housing
- Skilled in plumbing, tiling, and general maintenance
- Able to interpret plans and technical drawings
- Health and safety aware
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, Carpentry or Multi-Trade
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling certificates
