Are you an experienced Children's Home Manager looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely make a difference to the lives of young people? We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a 3-bedded EBD children's residential home in the Macclesfield area.
The Role
- Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated care team
- Ensure the home operates in line with relevant legislation, regulations and safeguarding requirements
- Promote a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for young people
- Maintain strong standards of care and ensure individual needs are consistently met
- Work closely with young people, families, professionals and external agencies
- Support young people to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills
- Take responsibility for compliance, quality assurance and Ofsted readiness
- Build a positive culture where the wellbeing and development of young people remain at the heart of every decision
What We're Looking For
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- At least 2 years' experience in a relevant children's residential care position
- Previous experience working with children and young people with EBD/complex needs
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, children's residential care and regulatory requirements
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A resilient, proactive and solution-focused approach
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people
