Overview
Social Worker - Advanced (Adults) (G10) – two-week contract based in Castleford.
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to contribute to adult social care services, supporting vulnerable individuals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults requiring social care services.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Work as part of the Adult Social Care Triage Team, prioritizing cases effectively.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of casework.
- Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and service users.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, standards, and legislation affecting adult social care.
- Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Worker within adult social care.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and adult care legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a busy caseload.
- Valid social work qualification and registration.
