Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Spirometry Nurse to support GP practices in Telford. This contract offers inflated rates and the opportunity to work for a nationally recognised Healthcare organisation. If you are registered on the Spirometry Register and have primary care experience, this Spirometry Nurse role is ideal for you.
As a Spirometry Nurse, you will provide essential respiratory assessments and support within primary care settings. Your expertise will aid in diagnosing and managing respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD, ensuring patients receive the best possible care. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexibly with a reputable organisation that values your skills and experience.
Location: Telford
Hours: 9am-5:30pm
Shifts: available to book around your availability and demand of the service
Pay: £32 LTD p.h / £28 PAYE Inclusive p.h
Responsibilities:
- Delivering spirometry assessments following ARTP and NHS guidelines
- Supporting diagnosis and ongoing monitoring of respiratory conditions including asthma and COPD
- Accurately recording test results and updating patient records
- Providing patient education and advice on respiratory health management
- Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless care
- Ensuring all compliance and health & safety protocols are adhered to during assessments
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration
- Competent and experienced in performing spirometry assessments
- Listed on the National Spirometry Register
- Previous experience within primary care or respiratory nursing
- Available for an initial 2-week contract in Telford, with potential for further bookings
