Service Care Solutions is recruiting for a Support Officer to join a leading housing association in Oxford on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable adults living in supported accommodation, helping them develop the skills and confidence to maintain their independence and sustain their tenancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting customers to sustain their tenancies and live independently
- Completing support plans, risk assessments and regular reviews
- Working with health professionals and external agencies
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults and responding to welfare concerns
- Maintaining accurate records and case notes
- Building positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
About You
- Experience in a customer-facing or support-based role
- Understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable adults
- Ability to work with people experiencing complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse or behavioural challenges
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Housing experience is beneficial but not essential
- An Enhanced DBS will be required for this position.
