- GP Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality primary care services to patients across a range of presentations.
- Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients.
- Managing acute and chronic conditions in line with clinical guidelines.
- Prescribing medications and providing appropriate treatment plans.
- Reviewing patient medical histories, test results, and clinical information.
- Making referrals to secondary care and other healthcare services where required.
- Supporting preventative healthcare, health promotion, and patient education.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, healthcare professionals, and wider practice teams.
