Are you a dedicated and experienced Children's Duty & Assessment Social Worker looking for an exciting contract role in St. Our client? Service Care Solutions is seeking a qualified Children's Duty & Assessment Social Worker to join a reputable Children's Services team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine needs and risks
- Manage child protection enquiries and referrals with professionalism and sensitivity
- Undertake statutory visits to children and their families in accordance with legal requirements
- Collaborate closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and coordinate support plans
- Document case information accurately and maintain up-to-date records
- Participate in team meetings, training, and case reviews to continually improve service delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker status with current Social Work England registration
- Proven experience working within Children’s Duty & Assessment or Front Door services
- Strong skills in child safeguarding, risk assessment, and statutory procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, statutory environment
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not mandatory)
