Permanent position. Salary: £30,000 to £56,000, depending on experience (DOE).
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
- Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom
- Participate in collaborative MDT diagnostic discussions (with senior support where required)
- Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families
- Produce accurate, high‑quality diagnostic reports using smart report‑writing tools
- Meet service KPIs through effective caseload management
- Provide clinical supervision where applicable
- Travel to clinic bases for in‑person assessments (hybrid roles)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’s professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England
- Experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments in CYP
- Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
- In‑depth knowledge of DSM‑5 criteria for autism and ADHD
- Experience using tools such as ADOS‑2, ADI‑R or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
