As a permanent Social Worker within the CWD Team, you will work with children and young people with complex needs, ensuring they are safeguarded, supported, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes. You will carry out high‑quality assessments, develop effective care and support plans, and work collaboratively with families and multi‑agency partners. About You

  • Be a qualified Social Worker
  • Be registered with Social Work England (SWE)
  • Have successfully completed your ASYE
  • Have experience in children’s social care (experience within disability services desirable)
  • Demonstrate strong assessment, safeguarding, and partnership‑working skills

Hybrid working is available; however, attendance on site is required a minimum of 2 days per week (unless otherwise agreed). The Council does not sponsor overseas candidates.
