We are currently recruiting for a Plumber to join a Local Authority Housing Repairs team covering South Shields and South Tyneside. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity working Monday to Friday with sociable hours, carrying out repairs and maintenance to both void and tenanted properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance to void and occupied properties
- Undertake responsive repairs and planned maintenance works
- Work on kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Provide excellent service to tenants and residents
- Cover properties throughout South Shields and South Tyneside
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working within void and tenanted properties
- Previous experience carrying out responsive repairs and planned maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Salary & Benefits
- £18.18 per hour Ltd (PAYE equivalent £15.16 per hour)
- Temp to Perm opportunity
- 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Holiday allowance
- Overtime available
- Sociable working hours
