We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a Local Authority Housing Repairs team covering South Shields and South Tyneside. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity working Monday to Friday, carrying out repairs and maintenance within void and tenanted properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance to void and tenanted properties
- Undertake responsive repair work across South Shields and South Tyneside
- Perform fault finding activities
- Complete testing and inspection duties
- Carry out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation work
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
Requirements
- Craft Certificate in Electrical Installation Work
- Time served recognised apprenticeship in Electrical work
- 18th Edition IEE Regulations in Electrical Installation
- Level 3 2391 Testing, Inspection and Certification or equivalent
- Experience of all 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation
- Full UK Driving Licence

- £21.13 Ltd per hour (PAYE equivalent £18.13 per hour)
