We're recruiting for a Contract Administrator to join a busy Property team, supporting the delivery of essential maintenance and improvement programmes across housing stock. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you'll coordinate day‑to‑day contract activity, liaise with tenants and contractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You'll play a key role in keeping programmes on track, maintaining accurate records, and supporting performance reporting.
Key responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day delivery of property contracts and planned works
- Raise and manage works orders, completions, and payment processes
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve queries
- Support contract performance monitoring, including KPI tracking and reporting
- Assist with financial monitoring and budget tracking (up to £20k)
- Maintain accurate compliance and certification records (e.g. FRA, asbestos, stock condition)
- Support audits and ensure data integrity across systems
- Monitor actions from contract meetings and track progress
- Provide administrative support across the wider Property team
- Experience in contract administration, property, or a similar operational role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with data, reporting, and performance tracking
- Able to influence and build relationships with contractors and stakeholders
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of JCT or partnering contracts
- Experience in social housing or property maintenance
- Relevant qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ, or similar)
