Are you an experienced and highly organised administrator with a flair for working in high-profile environments? Lancashire County Council is looking for a Support Personal Assistant to Senior Members of the Council, including Cabinet Members, Lead Members and the Opposition Leadership Team.
In this pivotal role, you\’ll provide proactive, professional, and confidential support, ensuring elected members are equipped to meet the demands of their position. You\’ll be part of a collaborative and dedicated team, working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing complex diaries and meeting schedules
- Co-ordinating paperwork, briefings, and correspondence
- Preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes for key meetings
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ensuring confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Supporting cross-party members and fostering excellent working relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven administrative experience, preferably supporting senior leaders or elected officials
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure
