We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Support Officer to join our Alternative Provision Service on a 3–6 month contract, with the potential for extension.
In this pivotal role, you'll help ensure that vulnerable young people receive the right educational and social care placements, while playing a key part in our financial and commissioning processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating a wide range of educational and care placements—from mainstream school and alternative education to residential and online provision.
- Managing financial processes, including raising limit orders, processing invoices in SAP, handling supplier enquiries, and tracking uplifts.
- Working closely with finance, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure compliance with audit and governance requirements.
- Maintaining and reporting on key contract and placement data using systems like Capita and Liquid Logic.
- Supporting Contract and Commissioning Managers with quality assurance, meeting administration, specification writing, and more.

- An experienced Business Support Officer with solid financial admin knowledge (SAP experience essential).
