We are recruiting an experienced Housing Compliance & Enforcement Officer to join a busy Housing Management team on a temporary basis. This role focuses on anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and enforcement cases, taking ownership of complex investigations and supporting frontline housing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on serious and complex cases of anti-social behaviour, harassment and tenancy or lease breaches, ensuring thorough investigations, evidence gathering and appropriate enforcement action.
  • Work closely with Housing Officers, legal teams and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes for residents.
  • Managing complex ASB, harassment and tenancy breach cases from investigation through to resolution.
  • Gather evidence, interview witnesses and prepare legal documentation.
  • Support and advise Housing Officers on ASB and tenancy enforcement cases.
  • Prepare court papers, witness statements and attend court hearings where required.
  • Work with police, local authorities and partner agencies to resolve complex cases.
  • Promote ASB prevention initiatives and community engagement activities.
  • Ensure vulnerable residents are appropriately safeguarded throughout case management processes.
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' housing management experience.
  • Strong experience managing anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and enforcement cases.
  • Excellent knowledge of ASB legislation, tenancy enforcement and housing management practice.
  • Experience preparing legal cases and attending court proceedings.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations and support vulnerable residents.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and partnership working skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
