Service Care Solutions is working alongside a bustling local authority, based in North London , which is seeking Junior Lawyer specialising in Residential Property to join their esteemed in-house legal team. This role would be ideally suited to a legal professional who is looking to make the jump from private practice to local government.
Role: Residential Property Lawyer
Location: North London – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £30-£35ph
Equivalent Salary: £44,805 – £52,000
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
The key responsibilities of the Residential Property Lawyer role:

  • Handle a residential property law caseload from start to completion.
  • Manage a diverse case load, which includes handling regeneration projects, residential acquisitions/disposals, Right to Buy disposals, licenses, leases, title work, and basic planning section 106 agreements/unilateral undertakings.
  • Perform any other duties required for the successful running of the team.

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Qualification as a Property Lawyer/ILEX/Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Strong understanding of residential property law and transactions.
  • The ability to attend the office two days per week.
