Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Hull, who are looking to appoint an experienced Probate Legal Executive to join their busy Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced probate professional looking to join a friendly, supportive and client-focused firm, with the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters.

Location: Hull / Office-based initially, with hybrid working available after probation

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Responsibilities as a Probate Legal Executive:

  • Managing a caseload of probate and estate administration matters from initial instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients, executors and beneficiaries throughout the probate process
  • Preparing and submitting applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
  • Dealing with straightforward and complex estate administration matters
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and firm procedures

About you as a Probate Legal Executive:

  • Previous experience working within a probate/private client department
  • Experience managing probate and estate administration matters independently
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good IT and case management system skills
