About the Role

We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2026. In this role, you will provide tailored support to two pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to engage confidently in a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent 1:1 and 2:1 support for two pupils with additional needs
  • Adapt activities and resources to support individual learning styles
  • Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support individual learning plans
  • Monitor progress and share feedback with the wider team
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • A patient, understanding, and positive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff
  • A relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
