Permanent Mental Health Assistant Team Manager
Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for mental health services? We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Mental Health Assistant Team Manager to join our client’s Mental Health Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead, manage, and develop high-quality mental health services within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Team Manager in leading and supervising the mental health team effectively
- Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and continuous improvement
- Ensure legal compliance and adherence to regulations, standards, and local policies
- Supervise staff, offering practice support and managing performance
- Contribute to high-quality service delivery by incorporating service user and stakeholder feedback
- Support resource management and team development initiatives
- Participate in oversight of risk assessments and safety procedures
- Participate in training and supervision opportunities, including additional AMHP shifts if qualified
Qualifications
- Level 6 Social Work Degree
- Extensive experience in mental health, funding, Care Act, and Copdols
- Proven skills in staff supervision and practice management
- Knowledge of legislation, HR procedures, health and safety, and anti-discriminatory practice
- Strong ICT skills and commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to foster effective working relationships and manage information for action

- Salary Range: £35,142 to £50,269 per annum (depending on experience and competencies)
