Service Care Solutions is recruiting experienced Practice Nurses to support a range of GP Practices across Manchester.

We are seeking clinicians with strong primary care experience who are confident delivering high-quality nursing care within a busy General Practice environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within established GP practices, offering competitive hourly rates, flexible shift patterns, and ongoing support from a dedicated healthcare recruitment team.

  • Practice Nurse Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality nursing care within a General Practice setting.
  • Providing routine nursing clinics, including wound care, dressings, and cervical cytology (where competent).
  • Administering childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations.
  • Undertaking chronic disease management clinics, including diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypertension reviews.
  • Carrying out NHS health checks and health promotion activities.
  • Performing ECGs, venepuncture, ear irrigation, and other clinical procedures within your competency.
  • Supporting infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
  • Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centred care.
  • Supporting high standards of clinical governance and quality within the practice.

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse within a General Practice setting.
  • Competent in chronic disease management, immunisations, vaccinations, cervical cytology, and other routine Practice Nurse duties.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience using EMIS Web, Systm One, or similar clinical systems is desirable.
  • Valid professional indemnity insurance.
