About the role
As a Duty & Advice Social Worker within our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will work in a co‑located, collaborative environment alongside partners including Police, Health, Community Safety, Adult Social Care, IDVA and the Prevention Hub.
You will:
- Respond to contacts received by MASH in a timely and effective manner
- Gather and analyse information from families, professionals, and members of the public
- Make clear, evidence‑based decisions in line with statutory duties and practice standards
- Identify appropriate services to safeguard and support children and families
- Confidently assess thresholds and determine next steps
This fast‑paced role requires strong communication skills, sound judgement, and a solid understanding of statutory social work responsibilities.
