We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established repairs and maintenance team delivering high-quality works across domestic properties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Roofer looking for a stable role with a respected organisation.
You’ll be working across a geographical patch, completing a varied workload of responsive roofing repairs and maintenance within both occupied and residential properties, with a strong focus on completing works safely and getting the job right first time.
The Role
As a Roofer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and completing a range of roofing repairs and associated maintenance works. Typical duties will include:
- Carrying out responsive roofing repairs and general maintenance.
- Repairing and replacing roof tiles and associated roofing components.
- Completing repairs to Velux windows, soffits and fascias.
- Identifying roofing defects and determining the appropriate repair.
- Carrying out associated multi-trade works where required and within your competency.
- Completing essential reinstatement works to leave properties safe and secure.
- Working within occupied properties while maintaining excellent standards of customer care.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a professional, customer-focused service while completing roofing repairs to a high standard and in accordance with current legislation, British Standards and safe working practices.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this position, you should have
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent qualification.
- Appropriate CSCS Card.
- Asbestos Awareness certification.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
