Overview
Experienced Social Worker (Adults) – Grade I.
A 2-week contract opportunity focused on adult safeguarding, risk management, and multi-disciplinary working.
Experience with care and nursing homes is valuable for this role.
Responsibilities
- Undertake section 42 safeguarding enquiries.
- Manage and assess risks associated with safeguarding cases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including health and social care professionals.
- Engage with care homes, nursing homes, and community settings to promote safeguarding principles.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate case documentation.
- Provide advice and support to team colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Qualified social worker registration (e. g., HCPC registration in the UK).
- Proven experience in adult safeguarding and community safeguarding work.
- Strong knowledge of adult protection legislation, particularly section 42 enquiries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability to start immediately for a 2-week assignment.
