We are partnering with a respected independent neurodevelopmental assessment provider to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to support Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments. This organisation delivers high-quality, person-centred assessments for children and adults, helping to reduce waiting times while maintaining excellent clinical standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for an SLT with ADOS experience who is passionate about neurodevelopmental work and wants flexible, specialist assessment-focused practice within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality ADOS assessments as part of comprehensive Autism diagnostic pathways
  • Contribute to ADHD assessments where appropriate, using structured tools and clinical observation
  • Complete detailed clinical documentation and produce clear, evidence-based reports
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including psychologists and other clinicians
  • Ensure assessments are delivered in line with best‑practice, ethical and professional standards

Requirements

  • HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience delivering ADOS assessments within Autism diagnostic services
  • Understanding of ADHD assessment processes and related tools (e.g. ACE+, DIVA‑5, QB Check)
  • Strong clinical observation, communication and report‑writing skills
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with neurodevelopmental differences
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within an MDT
