Service Care Solutions is seeking a reliable and proactive Mobile Caretaker to join our client’s estate maintenance team on a permanent basis.
This role covers Ealing and Acton, ensuring communal areas are maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide cover for caretaking and gardening colleagues across estate sites
- Keep communal areas clean, tidy, and graffiti-free
- Report repairs, vandalism, and safety hazards promptly
- Attend estate walkabouts and contribute to anti-social behaviour reduction
- Maintain refuse systems and complete scheduled cleaning tasks
- Perform safety checks, including emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Work collaboratively with the Estate Services Area Manager to ensure smooth operations
- Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving license (essential)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on duties
- Flexible, proactive, and a reliable team player
- Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check
