Overview
Adaptations Surveyor (Contract) – 2-week contract opportunity.
This role involves conducting assessments and surveys related to property adaptations to support vulnerable residents.
The contract duration is 2 weeks, offering a fast-paced and impactful environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed adaptations surveys in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate adaptation projects.
- Ensure surveys are completed accurately and promptly, adhering to deadlines.
- Provide expert advice on suitable adaptations to meet residents' needs.
- Document and report survey findings, recommendations, and required works.
- Maintain a strong presence in the city daily to deliver face-to-face services to vulnerable residents.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards during site visits.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Adaptations Surveyor.
- Knowledge of domestic adaptations and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must have a valid DBS clearance.
- A presence in the city is essential, with access to excellent transport links; location less than 5 minutes’ walk from Victoria Station.
