Registered Manager – Children\'s Residential Home.

Service Care Solutions is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead the reopening of a brand-new solo-bed children\'s residential service in NW London.

The role focuses on shaping a therapeutic environment for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and ensuring high standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the reopening and registration process of the children\'s residential home
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and children’s home standards
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing staff team
  • Promote positive outcomes and safeguard children and young people
  • Maintain rigorous safeguarding and quality assurance practices
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities and partner agencies
  • Cultivate a caring, therapeutic, and positive environment within the home
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager seeking progression
  • 2–3 years’ leadership experience within children’s residential care, particularly in EBD settings
  • Proven track record with Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (preferably in progress)
  • Strong safeguarding, leadership, and regulatory knowledge
  • The ability to create and sustain a positive environment for children and young people

Benefits

  • Salary: £52,000 per annum, with earning potential up to £58,600 including bonuses
  • £3,000 annual car allowance or a company car package worth £5,400
  • Occupancy bonus of £300 per month
  • 32 days annual leave including bank holidays, with additional leave for first three years
  • Ofsted bonuses: £3,000 for Outstanding, £1,500 for Good ratings
  • On-call responsibilities included within salary
  • Additional benefits such as sign-up bonus (£150) for new candidates and referral bonus (£200) for successful placements
