- Position: Locum Practice Nurse

- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible weekdays, Monday to Friday)
- Rate: £35 per hour (Ltd)

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of routine Practice Nurse services while providing high‐quality, patient‐centred care within a busy GP practice.
Clinical Duties:
- Cervical cytology (smears)
- Wound care and dressings
- Removal of sutures and clips
- Routine adult and childhood immunisations
- Administration of injections (including B12, Goserelin and Inclisiran)
- Urinalysis
- NHS Health Checks
- Travel health advice and vaccinations
- Management of long‐term conditions, including:
- Asthma
- COPD
- Hypertension (including 24‐hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring)
- Diabetes
- Phlebotomy
- ECGs
Requirements:
- Hold a valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Have previous experience working within a General Practice setting.
- Be confident using EMIS Web.
- Be able to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
