If you have a strong background in social work, especially with children and families, and possess excellent assessment and communication skills, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
- Role and responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive safeguarding checks
- Assess risk factors and identify welfare concerns early
- Provide clear, professional recommendations to courts
- Work directly with children and their families to gather insights and support
- Prepare detailed, accurate reports to inform court decisions
- Act as Children’s Guardian in public law cases
- Support families and professionals with practical advice on child arrangements in private law cases
- Contribute to the Child Focused Court Model, ensuring court proceedings centre on the child's needs, voice, and experiences
- Manage sensitive, high-conflict cases professionally and effectively under pressure
