Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of Outreach Family Support Workers to ensure delivery of high-quality outreach and home-based Early Help support to children and families.
- Using a whole family approach to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Providing reflective case supervision to outreach family support workers, fostering professional development and effective case management.
- Promoting child-centred, inclusive, and strength-based practices within your team.
- Working proactively with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
- Taking a lead role in developing and implementing intervention plans that meet individual family needs.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Social Worker qualification with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in family support and outreach services.
- Strong leadership and supervision skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership working abilities.
- Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and Early Help frameworks.
