Key Responsibilities
- Undertake addiction assessments and reviews.
- Complete Section 4 Care and Treatment assessments.
- Manage and support a caseload of current clients.
- Work with individuals experiencing addiction and associated mental health issues, including anxiety disorders.
- Conduct home visits and community-based interventions.
- Develop and review care plans to support positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker.
- Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Minimum of 1 year’s post-qualified social work experience.
- Previous experience within addiction services is highly desirable.
- Ability to undertake home visits and community-based work.
- Strong assessment and care planning skills.
