Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in West Yorkshire for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Solicitor to join their Legal team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional with strong litigation and advocacy experience within anti-social behaviour matters to work within a supportive and highly regarded local authority legal team.

Location: West Yorkshire – Hybrid

Contract: Part Time, Ongoing

Rate: £50 - £55 per hour (Umbrella, dependent on experience) PAYE (Inc. Hol): Approx. £44.12 - £48.42 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of Anti-Social Behaviour matters on behalf of the Local Authority.
  • Conducting advocacy in relation to injunctions, possession proceedings, closure orders, and other ASB-related applications.
  • Providing legal advice to internal departments including Housing and Community Safety teams.
  • Drafting legal documents, witness statements, pleadings, and court applications.

About you:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with a current practising certificate.
  • Previous experience handling Anti-Social Behaviour and housing litigation matters within a Local Authority setting.
  • Strong advocacy and case management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload effectively.
