Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Potential to increase to 5 days per week We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS5 Psychology Teacher to join a large and well-established secondary school in Harrogate on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Psychology lessons at Key Stage 5 , supporting students with their academic progress and preparing them effectively for their examinations.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons.
- Complete marking and assessment in line with school expectations.
- Provide students with constructive and meaningful feedback.
- Support students with exam preparation, revision and coursework where required.
- Monitor and track student progress.
- Work collaboratively with the Psychology department and wider teaching team.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and student engagement.
- Working Pattern
The initial requirement is for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday , with the possibility of the role increasing to 5 days per week depending on the school's requirements.
This is a long-term booking , offering the opportunity for the successful teacher to become an established member of the school's Psychology department.
