Overview
Complex Case Officers (Annual Reviews) – SEND. £290 per day (Umbrella) (£205 PAYE per day). Fully Remote. Monday–Thursday 08:45–17:00 | Friday 08:45–16:00.
We are currently recruiting for 3 Complex Case Officers (Annual Reviews) to support a busy SEND service managing escalated and complex EHCP cases.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex Annual Review cases, including:
- Parental or setting disputes
- Requests for specialist or out-of-county placements
- Significant EHCP provision changes
- Manage cases from review decision through to amended or final EHCP plans
- Prepare and present complex Annual Review outcomes to panel (RCP)
- Justify funding uplifts, specialist placements, and provision changes
- Work closely with parents/carers, schools, SENCOs, providers, and professionals
- Manage expectations and work proactively to reduce escalation to tribunal
- Ensure high-quality casework and accurate documentation throughout
About You
You will ideally have strong experience within SEND casework, particularly managing complex or disputed EHCP Annual Reviews, and be confident working with multiple stakeholders in challenging situations.
