The Housing Support Worker will deliver person‑centred tenancy support and intensive housing management services across a portfolio of 56 supported housing units in Burnley. The role focuses on assisting adult males referred through probation and criminal justice pathways to maintain accommodation, engage with essential services, and reduce barriers to independent living.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of residents across 56 supported housing units.
- Collaborate closely with Probation Services, Approved Premises, Community Rehabilitation Services, Adult Social Care, NHS services, and other partner agencies.
- Support residents with complex needs, including offending histories, substance misuse, mental health challenges, and social exclusion.
- Promote tenancy sustainment, encourage engagement with support services, and facilitate successful move‑on into independent accommodation when appropriate.
- Maintain professional boundaries while building positive relationships with residents and partner agencies.
