Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £80,000 – £100,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working pattern: Hybrid working available
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Litigation Department, including supervision, mentoring, and development of junior fee earners and support staff.
- Oversee a varied litigation caseload, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Drive business development initiatives and strengthen client relationships to support department growth.
- Assist in shaping department strategy, achieving growth objectives, and meeting performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management procedures, and firm policies.
- Monitor departmental financial performance, billing, and profitability.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Litigation, including managing complex and high-value disputes.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a legal team or department.
- Strong technical knowledge across litigation matters with excellent case management skills.
- Proven business development and client relationship management abilities.
