Community Staff Nurse / Practice Nurse in Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Waveney & Lowestoft – Summer Holiday Cover (July – September 2026).

Service Care Solutions is recruiting experienced Community Staff Nurses and Practice Nurses to support community nursing services across Great Yarmouth, Northern Villages, Gorleston, Waveney and Lowestoft. We are seeking two experienced nurses to provide additional support during the summer holiday period, from mid‑July through to the first week of September. The client requires clinicians who can commit to a consistent Monday to Saturday schedule to ensure continuity of care.

Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:30am – 4:30pm (Mid‑July 2026 to Early September 2026)
  • Location: Community‑based role in Great Yarmouth, Northern Villages, Gorleston, Waveney and Lowestoft
  • Rates: Dependent on experience

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience working within a Community Nursing, District Nursing or Practice Nursing setting
  • Confidence managing patients independently within the community
  • Diabetes care and management
  • B12 injections
  • Subcutaneous injections
  • Wound assessment and wound care
  • Lower limb wound care (training and competency essential)
  • Catheter care (male, female and suprapubic)

Desirable Skills

  • Compression bandaging
  • Experience with various compression bandaging systems
  • Community caseload management
  • Electronic patient record systems

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Community nursing experience
  • Right to work in the UK

Payment Information

Note: This assignment falls inside IR35. Payments can only be made via PAYE Umbrella Company. While limited company contractors are welcome, payments will be subject to deductions at source in line with IR35 legislation and cannot be processed on an outside IR35 basis.
