An opportunity has become available for a Gas Engineer to join a Local Authority Housing Repairs team on a temp-to-perm basis. The role involves carrying out repairs, servicing and installations within void and tenanted properties across South Shields and South Tyneside.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out gas servicing, repairs and installations.
- Undertake maintenance work within void and occupied properties.
- Ensure work is completed safely and to required standards.
- Cover properties throughout South Shields and South Tyneside.
- Deliver a professional service to tenants and residents.
Requirements
- Domestic Gas ACS Qualifications.
- Previous experience carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance.
- Experience working within occupied and void properties.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary & Benefits
- £20.00 Ltd per hour (PAYE equivalent £17.16 per hour).
- Temp to Perm opportunity.
- 37 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.
- Holiday allowance.
