Floor layer

We are looking to hire a Floor Layer to carry out floor laying repairs, maintenance, renewals, and replacements ranging from routine reactive repairs to major refurbishment work in occupied and void housing.

Salary: The hourly pay rate for this role is £20.00PH Ltd (PAYE equivalent £17.16 Inclusive of holiday).

What you\’ll do

Our team has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as our new Floor Layer. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Preparing and fitting vinyl to wet rooms.
• Preparing and fitting vinyl to kitchens and bathrooms.
• Accurately measuring, preparing floors using latex or plywood, and fitting vinyl sheet flooring, safety flooring, or vinyl tiles in our properties.
• Carrying out minor repairs to all types of floor coverings and eliminating hazards to ensure our customers\’ safety in their homes.

You’ll be responsible for delivering various types of floor coverings within our kitchen and bathroom programmes.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable time-served experience.
• Valid UK driving licence.
