Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Staffordshire for a Finance ERP Workstream Lead to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will work closely with business stakeholders, implementation partners and technical teams to replace existing finance, HR and payroll systems with a modern, integrated ERP platform.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the Finance and Procurement Subject Matter Expert, ensuring system configuration aligns with business requirements and drives process improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to influence solution design, participate in workshops and support system testing and sign-off.
- Support programme delivery through test planning, issue resolution, documentation reviews, user training and business readiness activities.
- Serve as the key communication link between the project team and business users, helping to prepare the organisation for a successful go-live.
- CIPFA or CIPD qualified, with demonstrable experience within Finance and Procurement, with a strong understanding of relevant policies, procedures and business processes.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into practical system and process improvements, ideally within a transformation or change environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence and build relationships across multiple teams.
- Highly organised, adaptable and motivated, with an interest in business systems, continuous improvement and organisational change.
- Previous experience supporting system implementations or ERP projects is advantageous but not essential.
