Opportunity available for an Emergency Care Practitioner to work in Primary Care across Yorkshire & surrounding areas. The role primarily functions as a General practitioner within the team, assessing a range of health and clinical needs, diagnosing, referring or discharging patients, and participating in educational activities to progress to a senior role.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out initial assessments with patients, record brief history and observations.
  • Signpost patients to the most appropriate service for their healthcare needs.
  • Use clinical knowledge and judgement to diagnose, refer or discharge patients.
  • Plan and provide skilled, competent care to meet patients' health and social care needs while ensuring high‑quality clinical care delivered in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
