Deputy Children's Home Manager
Deputy Children's Home Manager Salary: £37,640 - £41,315 per annum Location: East Sussex
Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established provider of therapeutic residential childcare for an experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or an existing Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career with a provider that is committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
Role
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the children's home.
- Lead shifts, supervise staff and contribute to team development.
- Assist with staff rotas, meetings and performance management.
- Ensure care plans, placement plans and risk assessments are implemented and regularly reviewed.
- Promote positive outcomes in education, health and emotional wellbeing.
- Safeguard children and ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and relevant legislation.
- Build positive relationships with children, helping them develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.
About You
- A minimum age of 22 years (to meet Ofsted regulations).
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years' experience working within children's residential care.
- Experience supporting and leading staff within a residential setting.
- A full UK manual driving licence.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
