Role Summary
We are looking for a Deputy Children's Manager to join our client's children's home in Redhill. In this position, you will:
- Support the Registered Care Manager in ensuring compliance with the company Policy and Procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations
- Deputise/act up for the Registered Manager in their absence
- Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the young people
- Support the manager and the team to ensure that the young person's stay complies with the ethos of the company and the care plan
- Support the manager and the team to ensure that when the young person comes to leave the home that is done sensitively and within the company's policy and procedures
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare and working with young people.
- Experience as a Deputy Manager
Benefits
- Potential to earn up to £3,250 for recommending a foster carer, or up to £1,000 for referring a full-time staff member.
