Deputy Children\’s Manager

Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary Range: £32,585 – £36,185 per annum (based on experience)
Location: Redhill

Role Summary
We are looking for a Deputy Children\’s Manager to join our client\’s children\’s home in Redhill. In this position, you will:

  • Support the Registered Care Manager in ensuring compliance with the company Policy and Procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations
  • Deputise/act up for the Registered Manager in their absence
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the young people
  • Support the manager and the team to ensure that the young person\’s stay complies with the ethos of the company and the care plan
  • Support the manager and the team to ensure that when the young person comes to leave the home that is done sensitively and within the company\’s policy and procedures

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children\’s and Young People Workforce.
  • Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in residential childcare and working with young people.
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager
