Multi-Skilled Carpenter – Pay: £26.00 per hour • Location: South London • Contract: Temporary / Ongoing
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties across South London.
The role will have a strong carpentry focus alongside general multi-trade repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out responsive carpentry and multi-trade repairs
- Door, frame, lock and ironmongery repairs
- Kitchen units, worktops and general second fix carpentry
- UPVC window and door repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Tiling and patch repairs
- Lock changes and property securing works
- Minor flooring and general maintenance repairs
- Diagnosing faults and completing jobs on a first-time-fix basis
- Working independently across occupied properties Providing excellent customer service to residents
Requirements
- Strong carpentry background
- Competent across additional maintenance trades
- Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Own basic hand tools
- Good communication and customer service skills
