Older Adult Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – NHS Agency Contract | Ely, Cambridge

Service Care Solutionsis currently recruiting experiencedCommunity Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs)for a full-time agency contract within theNHS Older Adults Community Mental Health TeaminEly, Cambridge.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rates:

• £27.00 per hour (Umbrella)
• £21.71 per hour (PAYE, inclusive)

Role Overview: This role involves supporting older adults aged 65 and over in the community who have a diagnosed mental health condition. Responsibilities may include administering depot injections, conducting home visits, and delivering person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a defined caseload under the Care Programme Approach (CPA)
• Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Develop and implement individualised care plans and therapeutic interventions
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support
• Administer depot medication as required
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT)
• Liaise with GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards
• Supervise junior staff and student nurses as appropriate
