Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a fantastic 3-bed children's residential home in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and experienced children's residential professional who is ready to take ownership of a home, lead a strong team and make a genuine difference to the lives of the young people living there. We're looking for someone who can bring strong leadership, excellent safeguarding knowledge and a real passion for achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, leadership and development of the home , ensuring the service provides a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people.

• Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated residential care team.




• Take full responsibility for the operation and performance of the home.




• Ensure the home consistently meets regulatory and safeguarding requirements.




• Develop positive relationships with young people, families and professionals.




• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and records are maintained to a high standard.




• Support young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their potential.




• Work closely with the Responsible Individual and wider management team.




• Prepare for and confidently manage Ofsted inspections.




• Maintain a strong safeguarding culture throughout the home.




• Identify opportunities to continually improve the quality of care provided.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to take their next step , with a strong background in children's residential care. Ideally, you will have:

• Previous management experience within a children's residential setting.




• Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, challenging behaviour and/or EBD/SEMH.




• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's residential regulations.




• Experience leading, supervising and developing staff teams.




• A good understanding of Ofsted expectations.




• Excellent communication and organisational skills.




• A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.




• The confidence and resilience to lead a home and make decisions when it matters.
