Children’s Registered Manager – New 2‑Bed Complex Needs Home (ST5 2JP)
£52,000 – £62,000 salary package, £8,000 performance‑related bonus, £5,000 bonus upon successful Ofsted registration.
We are launching a brand‑new 2‑bed Children’s Residential Home supporting young people with complex needs and learning difficulties. We are seeking a confident and experienced Registered Manager to lead the service through registration and into a successful, stable and rewarding future.

The Home
Brand‑new 2‑bed Children’s Residential Home supporting young people with complex needs and learning difficulties, located in ST5 2JP. The service will focus on delivering high‑quality, nurturing and structured care for children requiring specialist support within a safe and stable environment.
Salary & Benefits
- £52,000 – £62,000 salary package
- £8,000 performance‑related bonus
- £5,000 bonus upon successful Ofsted registration/licence approval
- Potential Dual Management opportunity within 6–8 months

Work‑Life Balance
Once the home is established, fully operational and the young people are settled, the successful manager will benefit from:
- 4 days onsite, 1 working day from home
This structure is designed to support healthy work‑life balance, empower the Deputy Manager with leadership exposure, create sustainable management practices, and encourage long‑term retention and progression within the leadership team.
We Are Looking For
- Experience within Children’s Residential Care
- Understanding of Ofsted regulations and registration requirements
- Confidence to lead a home through registration
- Passion for improving outcomes for young people
- Ability to build and lead high‑performing teams
- Strong safeguarding and leadership knowledge
- Desire to grow with an ambitious provider
- Level 5 qualification and previous Registered Manager experience would be highly desirable.
