Service Care Solutionsare currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established local authority for aTemporary Caretakerto support the Council on their properties within Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated and passionate team, delivering a vital service toresidents in the borough.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Caretaker, you will ensure the day-to-day operational running of council buildings. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Opening, closing, and securing buildings across various locations
- Performing general repairs, upkeep, and basic maintenance tasks
- Conducting routine health & safety and fire safety checks
- Ensuring internal and external areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Reporting maintenance issues to relevant departments
- Supporting manual handling tasks and ensuring site resources are in place
- Providing occasional Saturday cover and working shifts up to 9pm as part of a team rota
